Nigel has his own Christian band called "In Hidings" which produced an EP entitled "The Kiss That Was Never Broken" during the late 2004.

the lights. the sound. the people. never before have second storey played in such a big crowd. the crowd went absolutely mad! mosh pits, body surfing and sing alongs! WHOA! we're still pretty shocked with the respones. we would like to thanks Paean for booking out of camp to see us. and the scouts for the slots. and definately all of scout and guides that cheered.

we're gonna take a break. writing new materials for our next EP. which is not due anytime soon.
and also...our " Jastyn Eastwood EP" is still currently on hold due to financial problems.but we're try to work something out soon!

a new year, a new EP, a new layout on the site.
second storey would like to thanks all our friends for the continuous support for our band.Nigel from in-hidings and our beloved manager, Jastyn for helping so much for the EP.Dexter's sister, Su ann, for the new fresh outlook for the site.Brilliant! and other people that have been turning up at gigs and taking photos.thank you ling, for the photos taken during the third place.Pravin for the video.Sameer, our part-time guitar tech.last but not least, Jeff from parousia and Raggu from MYX studios for being our patient audio engineers.and many others that haven been through this crazy journey.

Wanna thank everyone for comin down and speial thanks esp to Lloyd for lettin us have the set. oh yeah... BIG BIG BIG thanks to the very essential Pravin.. eh heheheh.. for video taping the performance.. well... at least second storey's part...

Second storey will be headin down to the studios this sunday.. which wld be tmrw.. to record the last track for the EP which means tt the EP shld be up in abt 2 - 3 weeks so watch out for it..

ok ppl, day 4 was crazy, everyone's settled down into the new enviroment of jeff's studio n we've recorded crashing today. the sounds are seriously amazing.
on a different note, set for glory will be playing at the third place this coming friday at around 7 plus. please go down n support them. as for ourselves, we would be playin at the third place at the end of the month. the date is yet to be confirmed.

day 3 in the studio

okay.day 3 in the recording studio was pretty cool.we moved everything to jeff's place( parousia's guitarist).he will continue to help us record at his home studio.while there, we repaired "letters" and completed "deadrape".took about 4 hours or so. thanks nigel from in hidings for coming down to support.next sunday, recording of "crashing" and vocals.

okay. its day 2 in the studios.paean is getting used to the clicking sounds and the sounds are just swirling around us with amazment. recording at MYX studios have been a blast, together with our sound engineer, raggu. a very excellent individual.

and so, all the drums tracks have been completed. "letters" is 3/4 done. left with the vocals. i urge all you people out there that know us. please support us when its out. alot of effort, time and money have been put into this ep.

so after the rockin x'mas gig tat didnt go too well, second storey has decided tat they should do some new stuff to get things back on the right track. come first january, second storey is gonna hit the studios n start recording their debut 6 track ep. currently, the guys are puttin the last of their songs together n lookin through recording deals. if all goes well, the album would be done by then end of january n will be launched alongside in hidings's "the kiss tat was never broken ep".
the cd would include new songs like "crashing" n the drum-beat based tune entitled "instrumental". the re-recorded versions of "letters" n "dead rape" would also be released in this ep.
the song "dead rape" will also be sent for a compilation at the end of january.
so be sure to keep an eye out fot second storey's debut ep.

alright, so the rockin x'mas gig wasnt so good after all. technical problems, unforeseen stuff, injuries, bad lightin n a whole bunch more. i would like to thank all the bands tat played n a very big thanks to the guys from set for glory, in hidings, ecnerret n loose coins n keychains for the extra support they gave us. u guys rock! so well, its over, we're gonna move on n jus hope tat everyone will forget this n come to our future shows. sorry for the screw up in the organising part. n once again, we thank everyone who came down.

hey dudes n chicks, its settled. the rockin' x'mas gig 2 is gonna held at youth park! the date at the moment is 17 december. but this date may change. the bands tat are gonna play are In Hidings, From This Silouette, Flag Fire Brand, Set For Glory, Back By Monday, Teal Fault, Corporate Fishbrain and Second Storey. the order of play is not yet confirm though. but all i can confirm to u guys is tat the location is youth park n the gig is gonna be 6 hours long! starts at 3, end at 9! beat tat! the amps tat are gonna be used are all peavey amps n im providin the drum set. come back for more updates soon!

hey dudes, chicks, been a while since we updated this site. well... there isnt much news except for the fact tat our whole band would be down at marina bay this sunday not to play but to watch set for glory play. we wish wish them all good luck.

well, as for now all of us are writin our own songs. seeing how things are workin out n how the songs turn out cos somewhere next year, second storey is plannin to cut an ep album which will most probably be titled "red circle white line".

well, the plans for the gig are kinda at a stand still at the moment... seems as though the third place aint as easy to get as i thought it was. but who cares... haha... there's somethin cool tat's gonna happen at the gig (besides the 7 other bands we're playin wif)... a couple of chij gals asked me if they could do the opening for the show by given us a dance... haha... its kinda weird honestly but u guys make ur decisions. gif feed back on the tag board yeah?

hey dudes n chicks out there. theres some good news going on.

at the end of this year, second storey is organisin a gig! it's gonna be held at the third place which is somewhere in outram. the cool part about this gig is tat we will be playin alongside 7 other bands. bands like Set For Glory, Flag Fire Brand, Caracal, In Hidings and Teal Tault. this gig is a charity event n all money made on the sales of tickets would go to club rainbow (some heart n cancer foundation).

nothin much is confirmed at the moment but we'll keep u guys updated on wads goin on.
